PLATFORM

Service has been at the heart of my life — from my time in the Air Force to building stronger communities as a business leader and mentor. I know what it takes to stand up for what’s right, solve problems, and bring people together. In Columbia, I will fight to protect our freedoms, make our schools safer and better funded, grow an economy that works for everyone, and ensure every family in District 98 can build a secure future.
LIST OF ISSUES
Defending our Democracy

We are living through challenging times, and MAGA extremists in the State House and in Washington are threatening our freedoms and our democracy. As an Air Force Veteran, I know what it means to stand up and fight for what’s right. I will work to protect your right to vote, defend free and fair elections, and stop unfair redistricting schemes that silence the voices of our community. Our democracy is strongest when every voice is heard — and I will make sure yours is.

Investing in Public Education

Our public schools are the heart of our community. I will fight to fully fund our schools, pay teachers fairly, and make sure every child has access to a safe and supportive classroom. When we invest in our kids, we invest in the future of District 98 — and I believe every child deserves the chance to succeed.

Building a Strong Local Economy

As a businessman and real estate leader, I know what it takes to grow a strong, thriving economy. I will support our small business owners, attract good-paying jobs, and invest in workforce development so that people can find meaningful work right here in Dorchester County. Together, we can build an economy that works for everyone — not just the wealthy few.

Fixing Infrastructure & Reducing Traffic

I hear from families every day about how traffic is taking time away from the things that matter most. I will fight for funding to improve our roads, expand sidewalks, and modernize our infrastructure so you can get where you need to go safely and efficiently. Less time in traffic means more time with your family — and that’s a priority for me.

Restoring Women’s Reproductive Rights & Expanding Healthcare

Health care decisions should be between you and your doctor — not politicians. I will fight to restore women’s reproductive freedom, protect access to contraception, and expand Medicaid so every South Carolinian can get the care they need. I am committed to lowering prescription drug costs, increasing access to mental health services, and supporting local clinics to keep care close to home. Health care is a right, not a privilege — and I will make sure it stays that way.

Tackling the Affordability Crisis

Families across District 98 are feeling the pinch as prices rise on everything from groceries to gas. I will work to bring down costs by expanding affordable housing, supporting fair wages, and helping small businesses create more local jobs. I’ll also fight to lower prescription drug prices, reduce utility bills through smart energy programs, and make childcare more accessible so parents can stay in the workforce. No one should have to choose between paying rent, buying food, or caring for their family — and I’ll make sure our policies reflect that.

Protecting Natural Resources & the Environment

Our Lowcountry is a treasure, and we have a responsibility to protect it. I will champion policies that preserve our wetlands, improve drainage to prevent flooding, and promote clean energy solutions that keep our air and water safe. Protecting the environment isn’t just about today — it’s about ensuring that future generations can enjoy the beauty of South Carolina too.
